yaargh my mum is taking ages to prepare lunch! ): it's been at the very minimum, half an hour, and it's still not ready, hmph. but sadly, neither have i been highly productive, unless you count one poem and 3 lines in 1 hour highly productive. (on second thoughts, it doesn't sound too bad, eh?) ohwell.

yay lunch's here! (: whee it smells good, haha. noodles with salmon plus mushrooms plus meatballs. my mum's cooking is much love. :D and no, the combination is not weird, thanks. on the contrary, it is extremely appetizing / scrumptious / sumptuous / mouth-watering ... okay i should stop splurging synonyms. (<- i say that was funky alliteration.) oh woe is me, i fail to find synonyms when i need them most desperately (read: poems, or comprehension, for that matter), which is exceedingly stupid.

random revelations from the past few days.

1. my mentorship portfolio is in serious trouble, various states of distress, and all lost at sea. my past poems now seem awfully yucky after CAP and most unfortunately i've lost the ability to write properly. literally and figuratively, i say. worst of it all, i have inspiration, just that i cannot commit it to paper. now tell me how much of an idiot i am.

2. i am scared of chocolate fudge. enough said.

3. i have absolutely zero sense of bag sizes, which is sad. the new bag that i got is neat (defined as 'informal, chiefly N.America: excellent) in the sense that it is humongous, but it is not so neat in the sense that it can get a tad too humongous, which makes me look a lot smaller in comparison and is equivalent to a huge needle puncture for my balloon of an ego. for the record, michelle is keenly aware that she is short, thank you very much.

4. nike merchandise is expensive, and grossly expensive at that. 'give me adidas over nike anytime', so she says, but somehow michelle still ends up with stuff from the latter.

5. i do not like shopping, i do not like splurging. seemingly contradictory with revelation #4, but yes they do fit. however, walking around in a departmental store in a bid to burn calories after a hefty meal is an interesting exercise option. then again, that would not be exactly counted as, shopping.

6. CAP journal remains stuck at day 3, and michelle has not progressed beyond a whimsical LJ entry and a letter about plotwriting addressed to herself. some chinese writing camp loiters on the calendar for this wednesday, of which the reporting and dismissal times still remain fully unknown, and she is determined to write poetry if she finds the workshops decidedly boring (hopefully not). and yes, she means in english. if the facilitator does spot her for doing such a well, dastardly deed, she will put on her most saccharine (albeit chocolate-fudge like, - shivers) smile - if that is ever possible - and politely comment that she writes in english before translating them over to chinese. if that doesn't work it will always be found that having a half-written chinese poem amidst all the random papers on your desk is the easiest way out. now why am i confessing. -.-

7. a draft of the great history PT has been churned out, though it is still largely unsatisfactory. that and programme notes and poetry shall occupy her for the rest of this week. and well, reading up on other stuff. (O.o wait i forgot about the physics test in week1. joy!)

8. this is apparently the 99th post. hence i shall leave my 100th post to some time later, when something downright important and worth saying crops up. which may be tomorrow, next week, or never. well we'll see.

:D

lives, writes, sings, plays the piano, and attempts to sound intellectual at times (conclusion: fails rather miserably).

loves music (almost strictly classical, hurhur & inclusive of faziolis!), literature (& also the sciences - no they are not in conflict), making hopelessly lame puns, laughter, white/milk chocolate, cheesecake, the world & the people in it. list not exhaustive, by the way.

wants the world to be filled with peace, joy and love, and also wants (perhaps a little more selfishly) to be happy, plus lead a life of purpose. that would be more than enough. (:

oh, and she likes embarking on her own 'free hugs!' campaigns after exams and the like; not really sure why. D: (at any rate, you can tell that she's random enough.)

loves you!♥

very plain, she knows; but this is probably herself in its entirety - nothing more than a compilation of perhaps-boring-to-you little things (and the occasional Important Event), but also nothing less than all the brilliant memories which constitutes her life, and perhaps yours.

also interpreted as an inability to express with other things but words (nothing more, nothing less!), although even words sometimes won't do enough. but she does like orange.

v2.0 (230208): maybe solid grey isn't that fantastic after all. but wordy is good, all the same. she's weird, she knows.

ver. i-pretend-that-it-is-3.0-when-i-know-it-is-not (070608): i am boring, take that. (:

v4.0 (200908): got bored, so cut down on the quasi-fanciful stuff even more. perfectly plain now, though somehow the background still doesn't work on safari / google chrome. ):
